Cenoz's blue roans: criollo horses with 80 years of history
Cenoz's blue roans, a herd that is still running and developing at Estancia “Cerro Clavel” (San Gregorio-San José) under Numa Mangado Cenoz's watchful eye.
Máximo Cenoz Hita started breeding blue roan horses in 1934 when he purchased, from Mr. Estrada, a stallion geneticly selected for blue roan hair.
In 1946 Máximo exchanged stallions with Jesús Vizcaíno, from Soriano County. These exchanges were repeated in subsequent years.
